Kauai is a favorite with nature lovers and adventurers. On
its navigable rivers-the only one in Hawaii-idyllic kayak
treks often include a hike to a waterfall and a dip in a
mountain pool. Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Park offer
dramatic trails with scenic overlooks to the ocean, 4000
feet below. The Na Pali coast, accessible only by sea,
helicopter or hiking trails, is a dramatic stretch of sea
cliffs that soars to thousand feet. Popular honeymoon
resorts include the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa, the
Kauai Marriott Beach Club and the Princeville Resort.
