The decision to marry in Barbados is often an easy one to
make! The tropical setting fringed by powder-fine sands and
crystal blue waters has defined destination weddings for
years.
There are a number of
churches in Barbados, and one Jewish synagogue (but no
rabbi, so couples must arrange from home). In the peaceful
St. Philip countryside, Sunbury Plantation House is a
carefully restored monument to 17th century plantation life.
On the east coast, the 350 year old Fisher Pond Great House
epitomizes old world charm and is the perfect setting for a
garden alter. The original plantation era furnishing are an
ideal backdrop for photos.
At Orchid World, couples can be married amidst some 20,000
orchids. There's also the Flower Forest, for a dream wedding
in a secret garden. |
